The Main Event has a unique and brilliant format; you can afford to make a few mistakes and have some rough luck yet still be involved in the tournament for days! The 2011 event was fantastically run at a beautiful venue and I am very proud to have won. Considering the format, structure, venue and people, all-in-all this is the best tournament around and I will definitely be back next year to defend the my ECOSTT title.

Malta was my 1st ECOSTT event but it definitely won’t be my last. I have been on many poker trips around the world but I can honestly say the ECOSTT has been my favourite event of them all. The atmosphere between everyone involved in the event was superb. Even though the money was serious, we were all able to have a lot of fun along the way no matter how we finished up, which in my experience of live tournaments is completely unique.

I really loved the ECOSTT, it was a nice experience. I enjoyed myself at the tables despite the deck not co-operating! People were also very friendly. It was a lot of fun!

It was an enjoyable event, a perfect 4 days of poker with the best European players, and a very nice stay at the Hilton Malta hotel.

ECOSTT is a very nice experience for a poker player with less experience, because you have 4 rounds to try new strategies to make enough points to reach the top 18. It was a very nice week in Malta and I’ll be back next year!
